Katelyn Runck is a private dog advisor, the founder of A Yorkie Tale, and the creator of The Homestead. Through hands-on work with breeding programs, puppy development, health documentation, temperament observation, family placement, and continued support, she has developed a discerning understanding of what creates a successful match. That perspective now guides her private advisory work with families nationwide. Every engagement is approached personally, independently, and with the understanding that the right dog must complement not only a client’s preferences, but also the realities of their home, family, and future. A Yorkie Tale is Katelyn’s established breeding program dedicated to thoughtfully raised Yorkshire Terriers and Toy Poodles. The program reflects her commitment to early development, responsible placement, and lifelong relationships with families. The Homestead is Katelyn’s larger vision for elevated canine care—a thoughtfully designed destination being developed around breeding, training, grooming, boarding, and lifelong family support.
